MUAY THAI
Muay Thai is a combat sport from Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques The word muay derives from the Sanskrit mavya. Muay Thai is referred to as the "Art of Eight Limbs" or the "Science Of Eight Limbs" because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight. “points of contact".
At 4D our Muaythai classes are ideal for fitness, self-defence and competition, our classes are split between pad work classes, technical classes and sparring so you can choose which level you want to enter without feeling pressured into the combat side of the sport.
On the competitive side we compete at all levels amateur, pro-am and professional not just in Thaiboxing but also K-1Rules and kickboxing

We are very lucky at 4D that we have world champion wrestler Lyubo Kumbarov as our head coach his input of experience has pushed the team forward massively with his extensive knowledge in wrestling and submission grappling the students and junior coaches are improving all the time.
Classes entail a very active warm up getting your body to move in ways you never thought would be possible getting ready for techniques ideal for competitive MMA and grappling competition, even if you don’t want to compete these classes are the ultimate in a full body workout ideal for fitness and weight loss.

Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques, both standing and on the ground, including boxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay Thai, kickboxing, karate, judo and other styles.
At 4th Dimension we don’t actually do MMA classes we have found integrating the style into our other specific striking and grappling classes so it engrains better technique working with specialist instructors then we bring all the techniques together in sparring lessons and if you want to compete we do separate fighter classes to help further your MMA skills.
TIMETABLEFITNESS
PAD FIT A fun 40 minute all over body workout for everyone. Concentrating on cardio and endurance, whilst having fun hitting the bags and trying out ground and pound. This work out will tone you up from top to bottom.
We also have a fully equipped weights gym with free weights and machines and a separate cardio area including the dreaded Versaclimber and Air bikes.
On request we can set you up with our 4D body test for you to fill in your results every week to see how you have improved over your time training, we do this in 3 stages to suit different levels of fitness
